Jennycakes-The Story!

Over the past 6 years, Jennycakes has grown from a specialty cake business out of my home, to a shop making all sorts of custom cakes, cupcakes and sweets in my little town of Clarendon HIlls, right outside of Chicago!

I started humbley, making cakes for family & friends...a purse, a hat, a 3-tiered huge cake going to the Drake in Chicago...no pressure or anything! But after years of building my skills one cake at a time, I found bakery space to rent, and opened my own cake business...then the games really began!  I hooked up with an amazing Chef that taught me tons about the art of pastry and baking (thank you, thank you, thank you!), and with his help, and the help of my husband, three beautfiul children (my CEO, CFO and COO mind you!), my family, and my good friends, Jennycakes was really on its way!

Now, Jennycakes is full-feldged cakes and sweet shop, with a fun client base ranging all over the western suburbs and Chicago! I do wedding cakes, special occassion cakes, cupcakes everyday in the shop and custom orders, cookies and more! I love doing 3D cakes, making up new cupcake recipes and am always looking for a challenge! Look for my pink boxes and you'll know someone is getting a treat from Jennycakes.
